This will be an ‘away’ camp - running from Friday night to Sunday.
Graduation Week!
Graduation week is one of our favourite times of the term, and for good reason!
This is the moment our students receive their new belts, and we love every second of it. Graduation classes are a special celebration where our whole dojo community comes together to recognise how far everyone has come throughout the term.
During the class, students will showcase short demonstrations of what they've been working on, so parents, guardians, family and friends, this is your chance to see just how much your little (or not so little!) martial artist has grown.
Students will then be awarded their new belts and celebrated for all their hard work and dedication this term. It really is such a special moment to be a part of!
Please note: regular classes for Basic students and above will not be running during Graduation Week, so make sure you check the timetable below to find your graduation class.
You can book in via the app or at the dojo, we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Private Lesson Week

Dojo Closed
BBMA Hornsby is closed today for the Public Holiday.
We re-open on Tuesday October 6, with our special program of holiday events.
Term 4 begins, and regular classes resume, on Monday October 12.
Leadership Teacher Training
Specialist teacher and leadership training for current students of BBMA Hornsby. This immersive event is delivered in 3 separate modules, over 3 days.
Kumite Immersion Series
This series of events offers a ‘deep dive’ into your Kumite training.
NOTHING beats the results you get from an immersion event. Expect to work, learn and grow - springboarding your Kumite game, building confidence and refining skills, strategy & technique.

Karate Kids' Camp - Rise of the Elemental Warrior!
Rise of the Element Warriors – Kids Karate Camp
Get ready for an epic day of martial arts, adventure, creativity and elemental challenges! Designed for warriors aged 8–13, this action-packed camp takes kids on a journey through the Four Elements – Water, Earth, Fire and Air – with karate challenges, self-defence, sparring drills, fitness games and teamwork activities along the way.
Along the journey, warriors will earn their Element Warrior Stripes and design their very own Warrior Mask to take home, discovering which element matches their warrior spirit.

We're opening our doors on Saturday 10 October for a free community Open Day.
Get a genuine look at what training with us is all about. Try a class, meet our instructors, watch board breaking demonstrations, and take on fun challenges throughout the day.

Bullying 'No Way' Workshop
This August, BBMA Hornsby are proud to support @Karate Australia’s Karate Against Australia Bullying initiative. 🥋
Karate teaches more than skills on the mat. It helps students build confidence, respect, courage, self-control and resilience, values that can make a real difference at school, online and in everyday life.
Start by joining our Bullying No Way workshop on August 19 - this event is for children aged 8 to 10.
Stand Tall - Open Dojo Week
We're opening our dojo to the community with a full week of FREE Open Classes, designed especially for kids aged 5 to 8!
As part of Karate Australia's Karate Against Bullying initiative, we're inviting new students, families and community members to come and try karate in a safe, welcoming, beginner-friendly environment. No experience is needed.
