We’re proud to introduce a new initiative: regular, ongoing Combined BBMA Black Belt Karate Training, a dedicated opportunity for black belts from across our organisation to come together and continue growing at the highest level.

Across the series, we’ll explore a range of advanced topics, such as:

• Kata

• Bunkai – deeper understanding of application and interpretation of kata

• Advanced Kihon - including concepts such as mushin, zanshin, fudoshin, chinkuchi & kokyu

• Goshin Jutsu – practical self-defence for real-world application

• Kumite – tactical drills for the dojo and competition

• Karate’s Nage Waza – effective throwing and takedown techniques from within the kata

• and more

Training will be led by senior sensei from across our organisation, including Kyoshi Liz & Shihan Lliam. We’ll also be welcoming guest teachers from outside BBMA to broaden our perspective and sharpen our skills.

This particular session will be taught by Sensei Josh.
