BBMA Hornsby recommend that ALL Karate students under 14 years wear a headguard in-class during kumite drills and free-sparring activity.

The WKF Approved Karate Head Guard with Mask is an optimal level of impact absorption to the sides, top, front and back of head to reduce force of impact. Approved for use in WKF sanctioned competition events and CE tested for impact protection. The guard fits on the head within seconds due to the easy Velcro closure.

Specifications

  • Material: NBR rubber dipped in PVC coating, with Velcro strap. Perspex face shield

  • Headguard is not intended to protect against high-impact contact (such as weapon strikes)

  • The helmet will be supplied with either a white velcro strap or Black velcro strap.
