Graduation & Belt Presentation
So you passed your grading and are ready for your next belt? Warmest congratulations!
New belt promotions are awarded during Graduation week
- Monday June 30 to Saturday July 5.
Graduation classes are celebratory occasions – an opportunity to demonstrate and exhibit your new skills to family and friends. Be ready to take lots of photos! This ceremony is important for students to feel a part of the community and to celebrate each other’s success. So please prioritise coming along to them to support their friends and training partners .
When does Graduation happen? Graduation events are scheduled for the last week of every term. We have 4 terms a year, and so 4 graduation each year. The final week of each term is called ‘Graduation Week’.
Our regular class program has finished for the Term, and only graduations and special events are running.
Tiny Dragons
You have 2 graduation options during Graduation Week - Thursday July 3 at 3:45pm, or Saturday July 5 at 4:15pm
Please wear your full uniform, and your current karate belt
Lil Dragon Champions & Warriors
Your Graduation will be held in place of your regular class, during Graduation Week
Simply turn up on your usual day, at your usual time
Please remember to wear your full uniform AND your current belt!
Lil Dragon Heroes
You have 2 options for Graduation (pick the one that suits you best):
Thursday July 3rd at 4:30pm or Saturday July 5 at 3:15pm during Graduation Week
NO other Lil Dragon Heroes classes are running this week - all Heroes are invited to attend one of the above combined graduation events
Basic to L4, Karate & Kickboxing
Basic to L4 students: You can select from a few Graduation options.
Book into one (1 x single) Graduation only.
Please note, the Graduation events for your program will NOT be running at the same time as your regular class at the Dojo. Please do not turn up at your normal class times during Graduation Week – no normal classes are running this week.
Bookings are essential. Attendance at Graduation (each term) is mandatory for all students. Graduation is the BBMA version of an awards or presentation night in other sports.
